How to Play
Each game, both players are dealt the exact same random hand of 10 pieces: 7 pentominoes (5 squares), 2 tetrominoes (4 squares), and 1 tromino (3 squares). Rotate/flip a piece before placing it however you like.
Score points by completely surrounding an empty square (or group of squares) with only your color, the board edge, or both.
Whoever has more points when the game ends wins.
If you don't want to (or can't) place a piece, you can Pass — but voluntary passing only unlocks once your opponent has no pieces left to place, so you can't stockpile early passes to play with more information than they had. (If you truly have no legal move yourself, the game passes for you automatically.) The game ends once both players pass in a row.
Player 2 moves second, so they start with a 1-point handicap.
